The Corpus Christi Ship Channel just wrapped up a massive 35-year expansion, deepening and widening the key trade artery for larger ships and safer transport. The $625 million project also used over 5 million cubic yards of sediment to restore marshland, giving a boost to local ecosystems while strengthening America's position as a top crude oil exporter.
