Why don't football leagues play more than one game a week?

As a die-hard football fan, I've often wondered why football leagues don't play more than one game a week. After some research, I found out that a major reason is to ensure players have enough time to recover from the physical and mental strain of the games. Additionally, this schedule allows for better tactical preparation and training sessions, helping teams maintain their high standards of play. Furthermore, having just one game a week ensures that the excitement and anticipation for each match remains high for fans, and it also prevents overcrowding in the already packed football calendar. So, while I'd love to watch my favorite teams play more often, I understand the importance of maintaining a balanced and sustainable schedule in the world of football.
