High-Stakes Chaos: WWE Evolution 2025 Women’s Tag Team Fatal Four-Way
The crowd at WWE Evolution 2025 barely had time to catch their breath as Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez walked out victorious from a Fatal Four-Way showdown for the Women's Tag Team Championships. Defending under unusual tag rules—where anyone could tag anyone—Rodriguez and Perez faced off against three seriously stacked teams: Sol Ruca & Zaria, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), and the star partnership of Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss. With so many moving parts, the ring was a powder keg of surprise attacks and unlikely alliances.
Everyone looked out for themselves in this one. Flair, fired up as ever, launched herself with a flying crossbody onto the champions, bringing the fight straight to Judgment Day’s doorstep. She followed up with some classic Flair chops on Perez until Perez, thinking two steps ahead, rolled her up for a near fall, flipping the script entirely. Later, Sol Ruca cranked the intensity with her signature Sol Snatcher on Flair, aiming to clear a path toward the titles. But Alexa Bliss, quick as ever, countered Ruca's follow-up to keep the match wide open.
The chaos didn't stop there. In the scramble between Flair and Bliss, Zaria accidentally speared her own partner, Sol Ruca—one of those blink-and-you-miss-it moments that sent the crowd buzzing. Rodriguez, sensing the perfect opportunity, made her impact felt by tossing Bliss out of the ring entirely, right onto the Kabuki Warriors at ringside. With everyone else scattered, Rodriguez hoisted Ruca up for her one-armed powerbomb, also known as the Tejana Bomb. Perez seized the moment, pinning Ruca and sealing a memorable first defense for the new champions.

New Champions, Big Emotions, and What’s Next
Rodriguez and Perez shared a visibly emotional celebration as the bell rang. There’s a lot on Perez’s shoulders right now—she’s been filling in for Liv Morgan, who is still out after shoulder surgery. Despite that pressure, Perez stepped up and delivered, helping make sure the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships stayed right where Judgment Day wanted them—with Rodriguez and Perez.
The Fatal Four-Way rules made every second unpredictable. Anyone could get tagged in at any moment, which meant alliances were temporary and betrayals just a heartbeat away. The Kabuki Warriors put up a strong fight, but Asuka and Kairi Sane just couldn’t break through the chaos to take control. Flair and Bliss, two of the company’s biggest stars, came close but couldn’t out-maneuver the numbers game. Sol Ruca and Zaria showed promise but got tripped up by their own miscommunication when Zaria’s errant spear hit Ruca instead of an opponent.
With Evolution 2025 in the books, Rodriguez and Perez have not only set the standard with a wild title defense, but proved there’s no substitute for teamwork—even when thrown into the deep end. Liv Morgan might be out, but if this match is any sign, her titles are in good hands for now. Don’t be surprised if these four teams—especially the Kabuki Warriors or Flair and Bliss—come hunting for another crack at the gold sooner rather than later.
