It was officially announced by the club last night, that manager Bryan Robson and his assistant Brian Kidd had left Sheffield United.
It has been suggested that Bryan Robson was offered another job within the club but decided not to take the position in a meeting with the chairman and Sheffield United owner in Brussels.
Robson and Kidd will be replaced until the end of the season by former Luton Town and Leeds United manager Kevin Blackwell, and his assistant Sam Ellis.
