Southampton have taken on former Holland international Jan Poortvliet as a replacement for manager Nigel Pearson.
The 52 year old has won six titles with clubs in the lower divisions of the Dutch league, will be joined at St Mary’s by fellow countryman Mark Wotte, who will take charge of the club’s academy.
