Charlton went in at half time leading Watford by two goals to nil, with goals from Darren Ambrose and an own goal by Danny Shittu. But Watford fought back in the second half with goals from John-Joe O’Toole and one in the right net by Danny Shittu, to complete a 2-2 draw.The point puts Watford level on points with Stoke City at the top of the Coca-Cola Championship.
Stoke came from two goals down themselves on Friday night, to beat Scunthorpe 3-2 with goals from Richard Cresswell and two from Liam Lawrence.
Stoke now lead Watford by goal difference, two points ahead of Bristol City in third.
